    Advocate Like a Mother

Do you want to learn how to fight for your child's rights and access the resources they deserve?

"Advocate Like a Mother" is your essential guide to becoming a powerful and effective advocate.

A Mother. A Veteran. A Caregiver. A Case Builder.

I wear many titles and each one has shaped the work I do. I am a mother, a disabled veteran, a caregiver, and an advocate who learned how to fight through systems that were not built for families like mine. PALS was created from real battles with education, housing, medical care, and disability services. Today, it has grown into something bigger. PALS now specializes in helping individuals prepare their cases with strong documentation, clear timelines, organized evidence, and professional forms that help them stand firm in any dispute or legal process. I do not give legal advice. I prepare the paperwork that helps people make informed decisions, negotiate with confidence, and walk into mediation or court prepared.

I’m T. M. Thomas, the founder of PALS, and my goal is simple. I want you to have the structure, clarity, and support you need to fight for yourself.

My Story

My advocacy journey started at home. As a disabled veteran raising two children with significant disabilities, I had to learn how to navigate schools, hospitals, insurance, housing departments, and government agencies. None of it came easy, and no one hands you a manual.

I fought through IEP processes, medical denials, housing challenges, traumatic experiences, and endless paperwork. Over time, I became the person people came to for guidance. I realized families were not losing because they were wrong. They were losing because they didn’t have clear documentation, organized evidence, or strong written records.

That became my specialty.

Today, I help individuals build their cases by preparing the documents, timelines, and exhibit lists that strengthen their position. I do not practice law or offer legal advice. I prepare you to advocate for yourself with confidence and clarity.

My Promise to You

I will listen fully.
I will take your situation seriously.
I will prepare your documents with care and accuracy.
I will help you organize your case so your truth is clear.
I will equip you with the tools to advocate for yourself at any stage.

You deserve to be heard. You deserve to be prepared. You deserve support that respects what you have been through.
