By using Parent Advocacy Letter Services (PALS) ("we," "us," or "our"), you ("Client") agree to the following terms. Please read carefully.

1. Services & Payment

  • Payment in Advance: All services (consultations, letters, workshops) must be paid in full prior to delivery.

  • Accepted Methods: Credit/debit cards (via Stripe/PayPal), ACH, or other agreed-upon methods.

  • Late Payments: Unpaid invoices may result in service suspension.


2. Delivery & Communication

  • Virtual Services: All communications (meetings, document reviews) will occur via email, videoconference, or phone unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Response Time: We aim to respond to inquiries within 3 business days. Urgent requests may incur additional fees.


3. No Refunds Policy

  • All Sales Are Final: Due to the custom nature of advocacy services, fees are non-refundable once payment is processed.

  • Exceptions: Refunds may be considered only if PALS fails to deliver the agreed-upon service (at our sole discretion).


4. Chargeback Policy

  • Breach of Agreement: Initiating a credit card chargeback or payment dispute after agreeing to these terms constitutes a material breach.

  • Legal Action: We reserve the right to pursue reimbursement (including fees/costs) and may suspend future services.


5. No Legal Representation

  • Not a Law Firm: PALS provides advocacy support and education only. We do not provide legal advice or representation.

  • Attorney Recommendation: For legal needs, we may refer you to licensed attorneys (e.g., Townes Davis and Associates).


6. Client Responsibilities

  • Accurate Information: You agree to provide truthful details about your case.

  • Timely Feedback: Delays in providing requested materials may impact service timelines.


7. Limitation of Liability

  • No Guarantees: While we strive for positive outcomes, school/district decisions are beyond our control.

  • Damages Cap: Our total liability is limited to fees paid for the specific service in question.


8. Dispute Resolution

  • Negotiation First: Disputes will be resolved informally via good-faith discussions.

  • Binding Arbitration: If unresolved, disputes will be settled by arbitration in [Atlanta, GA] under AAA rules. Each party covers its own fees.


9. Termination

  • By PALS: We may terminate services for non-payment, harassment, or violation of these terms.

  • By Client: You may discontinue services with written notice but remain liable for unpaid fees.


10. Updates to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance.
